Willesden crowds wowed by young gymnasts

Young gymnasts wowed crowds in Willesden with a barrage of somersaults, flips and rolls during an entertaining Christmas display.

The talented youngsters from Brent Borough Gymnastics performed for friends and family at Willesden Sports Centre, in Donnington Road, on December 22, showcasing what new tricks they had learned over the past year.

Gasps filled the sports hall as boys and girls as young as eight sprang into the air from trampolines and skillfully completed impressive star jumps and splits.

Head coach Martha Yearwood said the display was a great success that showed off Brent's most promising gymnasts.
