Suspect charged over warehouse murder

The disused warehouseA man has been charged with the murder of a homeless Sri Lankan whose body was found in an Alperton warehouse.

Robin Shanmuganathan, 34, was charged on Saturday (06) with the murder of Thiyagarajah Thiyananthan, 41, on June 02.

Mr Thiyananthan's body was found in a disused cash-and-carry warehouse, often used for shelter by homeless people, in Atlip Road.

A post mortem gave the cause of death as a head injury.
