Tennis club serves up fun day

Acorn Tennis club, based at the Arnold House activity centre, Donnefield Avenue, Edgware, close to Canons Park station is holding a special open day for players of all standards and ages between 11am and 5pm on Saturday (30).
Activities include Prince racket testing,coaching tips and having your service timed between 11am and 1pm. Admission is free.
Club coach Alyson Torns will be on hand all day and guests can try out the brand new six artificial courts. 2008 Membership for new adults of this very friendly club is only £75 and juniors can sign up from only £25. There is no joining fee and balls are provided. Every new member who signs up on the day goes into the hat for a new Pro Kennex racket.

Other times by arrangement. Junior coaching on Fridays after school and other times by arrangement. The club has one mens and ladies team in the Middlesex league and runs tournaments and social events throughout the year.
